The Korea-Morocco Solar Energy Industrial Tour is holding its second edition. As a continuation of the TASK program, initiated as part of Moroccan-Korean cooperation, a new delegation of 15 representatives of institutions and companies in the Moroccan solar sector visited Korea. “The aim of this initiative is to strengthen ties between the two countries while exploring the latest technologies in renewable energy, thereby creating connections between the green innovation ecosystems of the two countries.” For six days, representatives of the ministries of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, Industry and Commerce, Higher Education, Scientific Research and Innovation, and the Solar Energy Research Institute and new energies (IRESEN), Green Energy Park (GEP), as well as companies Solar Power, GAIA Energy, QAIR Maroc, Nareva, Axelent Partners, GAITS, Innovx, OCP and Energy HANDLE, visited key companies and institutions of the renewable energy sector, green hydrogen and Korean electric mobility. The delegation had the opportunity to visit the Korea Institute of Energy Research, where they explored the innovations of the joint solar energy research center. She also visited the KTC SOLAR PV Test Lab for meetings and technical demonstrations, as well as the Hydrogen Safety Museum operated by the Korea Gas Safety Corporation (KGS), highlighting the safety of hydrogen technologies.
