Rafael Nadal incognito, or almost. The Spaniard, winner of 22 Grand Slam titles, amassing a total of more than $134 million on the courts in his career, traveled in economy class on a flight to Barcelona on Friday, June 28, operated by an airline offering low-cost tickets.
The tennis legend sat quietly among the other, inevitably surprised, travelers. Cap on his head and white t-shirt on his back, Nadal was photographed by a traveler who was delighted to see the 38-year-old Spaniard.

“Rafa”, which is preparing for the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, is not its first regular flight. But the gesture always surprises, while many wealthy athletes treat themselves to the luxury of traveling by private jet for comfort and to have more peace of mind.
