Mastercard collaborates with New Africa Technology to launch fintech card program in Senegal, Ivory Coast and Benin

Dakar, Senegal; November 20, 2024: New Africa Technology (NAT), a fintech based in Senegal, has entered into an agreement with Mastercard to issue a virtual and physical prepaid card to consumers from its “Flash” application. This collaboration aims to transform the payments ecosystem in Senegal, Ivory Coast and Benin.

The solution is also designed to help merchants by driving payment acceptance through advanced technologies such as QR Pay, Pay by Link and contactless payments. Additionally, it offers businesses a dedicated platform called “Flash in Business”, which provides them with a complete solution for their financial needs.

The “Flash” e-wallet allows for seamless transactions and offers virtual and physical prepaid cards for payments. It also incorporates beneficial features such as paying bills between multiple people, managing expenses, and helping with budgeting. The application is also interoperable with other e-wallets in the region, allowing users to transact seamlessly.
