It was time for the last goodbye. The funeral of Liam Payne, who died on October 16 in Argentina, was held this Wednesday, November 20 in the suburbs of London, England. The ceremony took place inéglise St. Mary’s
d’Amershama town in the county of Buckinghamshire dear to the heart of the ex-One Direction group member.
Kept secret until now, the event brought together many personalities close to the singer. Cheryl, Payne's ex-partner and mother of his son Bearwas notably seen at the entrance to the church. She was followed by the singer's girlfriend, Kate Cassidy. Her face hidden behind a pair of black glasses, the latter wore a long black dress covered with a matching coat.

Several British television personalities also attended the ceremony, including James Corden and Jordan North, but also ex-members of the group One Direction. All dressed in black, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson arrived at the church with closed faces, gathered for the first time since the group's separation in 2016. Tomlinson, with whom Payne had notably remained very close in recent years, has hardly hid his painentering the church with his hand on his heart.
At the start of the ceremony,Payne's coffin arrived in a white carriage pulled by two horses. Images of extreme sadness, the young singer having died in terrible circumstances last fall.
