Last Tuesday, three young women, suspected of attempted burglary in a villa in Cugy (FR), were arrested by the police in Frasses, in the canton of Fribourg. The trio was intercepted in a car with French plates and placed under provisional arrest.

During their hearing, these ladies not only confessed to their involvement in the attempted theft in Cugy, but they also admitted to another burglary committed the same morning in Essertines-sur-Rolle (VD). Four watches, worth a total of several thousand francs, were found on board the vehicle.

In addition, investigations revealed that the driver, aged 17, was driving a car without insurance coverage without a license, which was seized by the authorities.

The three suspects, aged 16, 17 and 27, are nationals of Italy and Croatia. They will be reported to the Public Prosecutor’s Office and the Juvenile Criminal Court for their actions.
