The two Swiss NBA players suffered defeat on Sunday. Clint Capela and Atlanta lost 114-110 in Portland while Kyshawn George and Washington suffered a big setback against Detroit (124-104).
The 8 points and 8 rebounds captured by the Geneva pivot (in 19’56 of play) were not enough for Atlanta, which lost everything in the third quarter in Oregon. While leading by 7 points at halftime, the Hawks remained silent for almost 5 minutes, letting the Trail Blazers come back and then fly off the scoreboard.
With now 6 victories for 8 defeats, the Georgian franchise continues the momentum of its last up and down exercise.
Eight defeats in a row
On the side of the American capital, the learning process is still painful for rookie Kyshawn George. The Wizards, dominated by Detroit, conceded an eighth defeat in a row since the start of November.
Present for more than 25 minutes on the floor, Kyshawn George did not have many offensive opportunities. He didn’t make any of his three shots, but still delivered 6 assists and finished the game with a decent differential (-5).
