“Four police custody [sont] in progress” after a new shooting in , indicated the Grenoble public prosecutor Eric Vaillant, this Saturday, confirming information from the daily The Dauphiné Libéré. “Shots were fired this afternoon” in a park in the Chorrier-Berriat district, which includes a children’s play area, he added. The targeted man left without being hit.

The police checked and then arrested a suspect in possession of a handgun, before arresting three other men suspected of being his accomplices.

Friday evening, a shooting had already broken out in Grenoble between several people on board a two-wheeler and a car, according to the prosecution. The shootings occurred in the Saint-Bruno district, known for being one of the city's main drug sales points.

On Thursday, explosions were heard on Place Saint-Bruno and the police arrested a man in possession of a Japanese katana sword. Already on Wednesday afternoon, around twenty masked men dressed in black had been attacked nearby by individuals armed with knives, some of them, and at least one firearm. Two shots were fired into the air. On site, the police arrested two people, including a 15-year-old teenager carrying a machete.
