Many fans of Françoise Hardy gathered this Thursday, June 20 to pay a final tribute to the icon of French song. On June 11, 2024, at the age of 80 and after having fought for several years against the disease, the singer left us following pharyngeal cancer at the American hospital in Neuilly-sur-Seine (Hauts-de- Seine) where she was admitted four days before. A final tribute was therefore paid to her today in the dome of the Père-Lachaise crematorium, and many celebrities made the trip to celebrate the memory of one of the greatest French artists of the 20th century.

Etienne Daho, Sheila, Nolwenn Leroy, Laurent Voulzy, they were all there to say goodbye to him and of course, the man of his life, Jacques Dutronc, made the trip from Corsica, where he has lived for years, for this moment of contemplation. Married since 1981 to Françoise Hardy, the 81-year-old singer was separated from the interpreter of All the boys and girls for many years, but they never divorced. Since 1997, Thomas Dutronc’s father has rebuilt his life with Sylvie Duval and the couple were of course present this Thursday afternoon at the Père-Lachaise cemetery to commemorate the memory of the woman who will remain as a figure of the “yéyé” wave from the 60s.

In the images broadcast by BFMTV, we can see the van in which Jacques Dutronc and his son Thomas were seated, leaving the dome of the Père-Lachaise crematorium. At the front of the car, Sylvie Duval took her place and she was responsible for collect the many bouquets of flowers from the bruised fans by Françoise Hardy, for her husband and their son. A symbolic role from the one who replaced the famous singer in the heart of the French crooner.

The interpreter of I like girls was not the only former love of Françoise Hardy’s life to have made the trip for this funeral. Jean-Marie Périer, her famous ex was present with Jacques and Thomas Dutronc and he had a very touching attention by revealing several photos of the late artist and declaring that a part of her life had dissolved.
