From January 2025, Ryanair, a low-cost airline, will inaugurate two routes linking Dakhla, the pearl of the Moroccan Sahara, to Madrid and Lanzarote, in the Canary Islands, as part of a partnership with the National Tourist Office of Morocco (ONMT).
The two partners concluded, on Wednesday, November 13, an agreement aimed at improving Dakhla’s connectivity with the main European markets, thanks to new direct links.

This partnership is part of the ONMT’s “Light in Action” initiative, intended to increase the visibility and accessibility of Moroccan destinations on a global scale.
The new services, which will be operated at a rate of two flights per week, will “considerably extend the reach of Dakhla in Ryanair’s European network,” explains the ONMT.

They will thus double the international capacity of Dakhla airport, bringing availability to around 47,000 seats. Spain will become the first source market for this destination.
Joint promotional campaigns will be launched by the ONMT and Ryanair to highlight the tourism potential of Dakhla and attract new visitors, thanks to these expanded connections.
