For a weekend, on December 7 and 8, foreign heads of state, religious representatives, donors and personalities will celebrate around Emmanuel Macron and Mr.gr Ulrich the cathedral found.
It takes several days to properly celebrate the great return of the cathedral. For months, the Élysée and the diocese of Paris have been trying to organize the schedule for the reopening ceremonies on December 7 and 8. Both parties sometimes had to scrap. On November 29, this construction site of the century will be officially closed. In the morning, the President of the Republic, accompanied by Mgr Ulrich, Archbishop of Paris, should go inside Notre-Dame. Inauguration before the inauguration? The goal, according to the Élysée, is more to thank the companions and employees who made the rebirth of the cathedral possible. Nearly 2,000 people will have worked on the site in five years, and « all have been invited and will be presented with a commemorative diploma », those around us say…
