2 KLASSICAL DREAM : In the United Kingdom, he won seven times at Group I level over hurdles, the last of which on April 27 at Punchestown over 4700 meters. Back in top form and second in this Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil last year, this 9-year-old gelding from training at Willie Mullins deserves wide credit.
13 GOA LIL : This 7-year-old gelding developed by N. George & A. Zetterholm made a very good impression by winning from start to finish on April 23 in the Group II Prix Léon Rambaud, on the course of the 4300 meters of the hurdles of Auteuil. Endowed with a lot of bottom and resistance, it will be favored by the very long distance of 5100 meters. It looks formidable.
9 THELEMA : Over the hurdles at Auteuil, this 6-year-old gelding trained by Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé won three Group I, one Group II and three Group III. Second to Goa Lil on April 23 in Group II Prix Léon Rambaud and fourth in this Grande Course de Haie d’Auteuil in 2022, he is one of the priorities at the time of choice.
4 ASTERION FORLONGE : This other resident of Willie Mullins finished a close second to his training partner on April 27 at Punchestown. At just 9 years old, he has only run sixteen times and has won one victory in a Group I and another in a Group II over hurdles. It should be very wary, even if it begins in Auteuil.
7 FLOORING WEAR : Another horse from across the Channel, this 8-year-old gelding has three successes over hurdles at Group I level. During his last two outings, in Group I over hurdles, he finished third on April 15 at Aintree and fourth on March 16 in Cheltenham, over distances of 4950 and 4800 meters. Watch out for him on his debut at Auteuil.
12 HERMES BAY : He is the defending champion. After finishing third in the Group III Prix Juigné on March 5, he finished second in Hermes Bay on March 26 in the Group III Prix Hypothèse and disappointed in the Prix Léon Rambaud by finishing fourth, 20 lengths from third. It is of course better than that. Returning to the course of his exploit last year, an awakening on his part is not impossible.
3 FOLSOM PRISON : Over hurdles at Auteuil, it is confirmed at the highest level, where it regularly takes good allowances. It has just proved its form by finishing third in the Prix Léon Rambaud. The big piece of this Saturday, the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil, a group I which will be Ze5-Event support of the day ! Magnificent by the number of starters and the field present, all the best being present except for He is French who at rest.
And best of all, up to this run is Thelemaalready triple winner of group I, imperial for his comeback and simply beaten by the circumstances of the race in the Prix Léon Rambaud where goa lil had taken off. The objective is for this Saturday, and if all goes well, we should see the star of Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé rise to the firmament of his discipline!
But the opposition will be really solid, whether French or British, with in particular the first two from last year, Hermes Bay And Klassical Dreamwho do not approach the meeting in the same way, the first named having to reassure us all the same but who seems well according to his mentor, when the second has just won at Punchestown and arrives pumped up to try to impose this time.
Asterion Forlongesrunner-up to his training companion last time, will also be one of the great possibilities with the very consistent Flooring Porter, interesting to see evolve here, and goa lil therefore, winner of the ultimate preparatory, very hard on the effort.

It is a superb event which supports the Quinté+ (Top 5 on genybet.fr) this Saturday with the Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil, the highlight of the year over hurdles. They are 15 at the start of this superb edition and we find a great champion: Theleme (9). The representative of Arnaud Chaillé-Chaillé already has three Group I victories to his name (in 4 attempts at this level of the competition) and seems capable of hanging a fourth crown on his list. Winner for his return to competition in the Prix Hypothèse, he could not oppose Goa Lil (13) in the Prix Léon Rambaud but he carried the very heavy load of 72 kilos. The deal is not the same for the goal this Saturday and this time it should show its true face, that of a very tall horse.
Hermès Bay (12) disappointed in this Prix Léon Rambaud but he shouldn’t be taken into account, he is much better than that and François Nicolle’s team has regained form. The truth Hermès Bay (12) can try to block the way to our favorite.
Goa Lil (13) surprised lately by dominating Theleme (9)it’s more complicated this Saturday since he’s going to do battle with our favorites at equal weight but he can confirm and fight for the first places.
Klassical Dream (2) came second inHermès Bay (12) last year in this Grande Course de Haies d’Auteuil, we must once again count on this superb horse. Flooring Porter (7) is blameless in the British Isles and has every right to try his luck on our soil with ambitions, beware of him. Top in Colors (5) won on the Butte Mortemart for his first steps before making a career in Ireland, this son of Saint des Saints has an interesting profile and can confuse the issue. Folsom Jail (3) is no longer to be presented, he is barred by certain rivals for victory but a place in the first five seems within his reach. Kilcruit (10) is faultless in Ireland and can be seen in an expanded combination, like his three training mates at Willie Mullins.
