A collision that occurred around noon, which fortunately caused no serious injuries, caused a major traffic jam on the Laurentian highway, heading north, in Quebec.
According to witnesses, the line of cars stretched for a few kilometers around 12:30 p.m. while the cars remained completely stationary for almost 45 minutes.

Preliminary information provided by the Sûreté du Québec (SQ) indicates that it was a collision involving two vehicles. Two people had to be assessed by paramedics, but were not believed to have suffered significant injuries.
The accident occurred in a two-lane work zone, where traffic is already limited, near rue de la Faune, in Quebec.

The sector should therefore be avoided during the hour, while the tugboats take care of the damaged vehicles and clear the road.
The lanes were completely cleared shortly before 1 p.m. A return to normal with regard to traffic flow is expected in the coming minutes.
