Out during the break during the victory against Samsunspor this Sunday, the Senegalese left side of Galatasaray, Ismail Jakobs, suffers from an Achilles tendon injury. He must have an MRI and will not join the Lions gathering, we are informed.
He made his return to competition this Sunday, during the victory against Samsunspor in the Championship (3-2) but Ismail Jakobs, who had missed the last three Galatasaray matches, will miss the Lions gathering which started this Monday November 11, in Diamniadio. Replaced at the break during this meeting, the 25-year-old left side was the victim of new physical problems.
The former AS Monaco player is indeed suffering from an Achilles tendon injury. If at the end of the match his coach Okan Buruk had declared that “it is not a serious problem”, Jakobs will have to undergo an MRI to determinecomplete the accuracy of his injury. He agreed with the FSF not to join the Lions for the matches against Burkina Faso and Burundi.
