When the call was made, emergency services were informed that a person was “buried under a low wall” and trapped by a tractor.

According to initial reports, a young man was working on a tractor. It was busy with the vehicle’s battery when the machine started in reverse. The young man then found himself trapped between the wall and the tractor.

Luckily, the wall gave way… Otherwise, the situation would have been much more serious. However, the young man found himself trapped by the rubble of the wall too. The Jumet firefighters under the orders of Warrant Officer Renier carried out the extrication. The young man was then transported to hospital. Major material damage is also to be deplored. Behind the famous wall, there were indeed used vehicles for sale, and one of them was heavily damaged. The observation was made by the Charleroi police.
