Jude Bellingham scored to give England a winning start to the European Championship as they beat Serbia 1-0.

The Real Madrid star gave Gareth Southgate’s side the lead with a diving header in the 13th minute at the Veltins Arena from a Bukayo Saka cross.

The English fans were quick to celebrate from the start of the match after Bellingham’s early goal.

Harry Kane almost increased the lead in the second half, but Serbian goalkeeper Predrag Rajković pushed his header at the far post off the underside of the bar.
