- Fighter jets in the skies of Jerusalem
Last night (Sunday), fighter jets patrolled the skies over Jerusalem due to a drone launched from Iraq. It was intercepted over the Dead Sea, before entering Israeli airspace. The sirens were therefore not triggered.
- Alerts in Beth Shemesh and Gush Etsion
The sirens sounded this morning (Monday) around 6 a.m. in Beth Shemesh but also in Hevron and other localities in Gush Etsion. A ballistic missile fired from Yemen has been intercepted.
A fire broke out in the Beth Shemesh area after falling debris.
- Targeted elimination in the Gaza Strip
The IDF yesterday (Sunday) eliminated Mohamed Abou Sah'il, the head of the operational department of Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. He was operating from a building that was a school in the northern Gaza Strip.
He was a central figure in the Islamic Jihad terrorist organization for planning and carrying out terrorist actions in cooperation with Hamas, against Israeli civilians on Israeli territory and IDF fighters in the Gaza Strip.
- Alerts in Tsfat and Upper Galilee
Sirens sounded several times last night in Tsfat and Upper Galilee due to drones launched from Lebanon. No injuries were reported.
