Marion Maréchal is due to meet Marine Le Pen and Jordan Bardella on Monday at 5 p.m. at the headquarters of the National Rally, the Lepenist party told AFP, confirming information from the Figaro. “Marion Maréchal had indicated yesterday evening that she wanted to meet us,” explained the RN, ensuring that the purpose of the meeting was to “discuss” with a view to the legislative elections of June 30 and July 7.

Ms. Maréchal, elected MEP on Sunday evening after leading the list of the Zemmourist Reconquête party, said she was “ready to meet in the coming days Marine Le Pen, Jordan Bardella, Eric Ciotti and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan to work together”, some minutes after the presidential announcement of the dissolution of the National Assembly.

Marion Maréchal will meet her aunt Marine Le Pen and her cousin’s companion, Jordan Bardella, to talk about a union of the extreme right.

“As you know, in this campaign, I have always taken care never to make impossible what seems so necessary to us. This is why I have always distinguished (…) adversaries from competitors,” added the niece of Marine Le Pen, who distanced herself from politics in 2017 before supporting Eric Zemmour rather than her aunt in 2022 .

Sunday evening, the unsuccessful presidential candidate called on the RN and LR for “the broadest union of the rights” with a view to the legislative elections. “Everyone must take responsibility,” said a close friend of Marion Maréchal on Monday, calling for an alliance “of the national camp”. “For the first time, we can transform the test,” she added.
