► Purchasing power, emergency in the first days
The New Popular Front (NFP) wants to increase provisions in favor of purchasing power. Symbolic measure: the increase in the minimum wage to €1,600 net (€2,000 gross) from July. To increase all incomes, the left wants to align the contributory minimum (minimum pension) with the minimum wage and the old-age minimum with the poverty threshold, as well as increase the index point of civil servants by 10%. It plans to increase housing allowances (APL) accordingly.

► Retirements: target 60 years

To balance its expensive program, the NFP intends to rely on new tax revenues targeted at the wealthiest households and multinationals. From the summer, he wants to implement the tax on superprofits demanded by the left for several months. The renovation of buildings, rail freight and renewable energies are thus presented as priorities.
