Alexandre Bouchard died on November 1 in a Fredericton hotel room.

The work started by the Trois-Rivières police officers on rue Ledoux has officially been in the hands of the Sureté du Québec since October 18.

The death of the 26-year-old woman is being treated as suspicious, but

for investigators, the hypothesis of natural death is still one of the possibilities considered.

However, as soon as the body was discovered, relatives believed it was murder.

The next day, a witness confided having heard a relative shout “he killed him, he killed him!”.

Quickly on social networks, the former spouse of Alianka Royer, Alexandre Bouchard was singled out.

A witch hunt had begun.

Several rumors were circulating, including that he would be a witness of interest in the Sûreté du Québec investigation.

He died before the outcome of the investigation was known.

The Fredericton Police Force confirms that a man identified as Alexandre Bouchard was found deceased in a hotel room on Friday, November 1.

The spokesperson for this police force specifies that the provincial coroner’s office is now responsible for the file.

The cause of death has not yet been conclusively determined.

The spokesperson, however, specifies that “at present, we have no reason to suspect any malicious act.”

The Sûreté du Québec which claims to have no new information to communicate in the investigation into the death of Alianka Royer.
