Dear readers, dear readers,
On Wednesday, the United States is expected to have a new president. This election of November 5, 2024 promises to be one of the most uncertain in American history. The poll results are extremely close and the suspense is likely to last. Who, Kamala Harris or Donald Trump will win the votes of the “electors”, at least 270 to reach the White House?
Our editorial team has been on the front lines for weeks to bring you this election from the inside. With reports across the States, in particular the famous “swing States” whose final vote of a few tens of thousands of voters could tilt the result in one direction or the other.
The broken promises of Donald Trump in a town in Wisconsin, the crucial vote in Georgia of black men for Kamala Harris, that of the Arab community of Dearborn, in Michigan, so many meetings with Americans which paint the image of a country polarized like never before and awaiting change.
As of Tuesday, we are on deck with the first live results, analyses, reports from both camps, but also in Switzerland, within the American community in French-speaking Switzerland which is closely following the election.
Visit all our digital media, as well as our printed editions the next day, to experience this historic moment together.
Happy reading!
