Bart De Wever in search of a federal majority: Arizona has failed, the Open VLD is the only chance (infographic)

The trainer has until next Tuesday, November 12, to try to initiate negotiations aimed at forming a government. What happens after Vooruit leaves? Only solution: convince Open VLD to join N-VA, MR, Engagés and CD&V. A Lagoon coalition, at least for those who dream of it. Otherwise ? Back to the polls.

OYou suddenly change continent, it’s like that in Belgium: from Arizona to Sweden. Vooruit is leaving, the Open VLD is expected. All this in the conditional, of course. Because almost five months after the June 9 elections, nothing is certain. Bart De Wever remains on mission. The trainer submitted his resignation to the King during his interview on Monday (logical after the failure of the five-party discussions), who refused it, setting a new deadline to initiate proper negotiations still aimed at constituting a government federal, in this case on November 12. Which leaves Bart De Wever until next Tuesday to try to convince the Open VLD to join the partners determined to continue, N-VA, MR, Engagés and CD&V… A Lagoon coalition, at least for those who dream of it: blue and turquoise for the sea, yellow and orange for the sands, a bit of the best of all worlds, if you follow carefully.
