The elected representatives of the finance committee “have fun” with initiatives often proposed by the left.
At the Finance Committee, we are currently shaving for free. Expenditure increases of 1 million here, 57 million there, 6 billion too, or even sometimes only… 1 euro are adopted. After the revenue side of the 2025 budget – which the deputies had completely reworked before rejecting it – they have been working for a week on the expenditure side of the finance bill (PLF), which should probably suffer the same fate. Unlike the tax part of the budget, it is very possible that the part relating to the resources allocated to the various missions of the State will not even reach the Hemicycle in the coming days.
