Five people were arrested for drug trafficking in the Limoilou sector by the Quebec City Police Service (SPVQ) on Saturday evening.

The surveillance operation began around 5:38 a.m. when police arrested five people aged 25 to 33, a woman and four men, for possession of drugs for the purpose of trafficking.
The SPVQ, assisted by the Narcotics Unit, found approximately two kilograms of crystal meth, nearly 100 grams of cocaine, nearly 100 grams of cannabis, approximately 4,000 methamphetamine pills and more than $20,000 in cash.
One suspect appeared and the four others were released on a promise to appear.
