RSCA Futures faced AS Eupen this Saturday, and started the match well by opening the score. But in the end, the young people from Anderlecht had to snatch a draw!
There will be several ways to see this result, from the RSCA Futures side. First as a disappointment, at home against a viable opponent, and while a victory would have allowed them to leave last place in the Challenger Pro League.
Then, as a relief because after leading the score following the opener from Nilson Angulo (28th) in the first half, the young Mauves were led in the second half by the Pandas. Jan Gorenc (63rd) then Emerhan Gedikli (71st) put the Alliance back on track.
But at the very end of the match, Futures playmaker Ismaël Baouf will go for the split point (86th), which will therefore have to be satisfied on the Anderlecht side.
And that’s not such a bad thing, because RSCA Futures has now gone three games in a row without losing, since the great victory against RWDM.
The Anderlecht U23s, however, remain last in the Challenger Pro League with this result, now tied on points with RFC Seraing who travel to Francs Borains tomorrow. Eupen, for its part, is 9th in the ranking with 12 units.
