Urunani easily dominates Beau Vallon Heat and remains undefeated | FIBA.basketball

KIBAHA (Tanzania) – Burundi champions Urunani managed to improve their record to 2-0 by winning 112-43, while inflicting their second consecutive defeat on Beau Vallon Heat on the second day Group D matches of the Eastern Division of the Road to BAL.

The Seychelles champions held out for just five minutes to lead 9-7 before the men of Mamadou Gueye took matters into their own hands, leading 26-12 after the first quarter.

The lead doubled in the first half of the second half, with Urunani scoring 34 points to the islanders’ 11, making the score 60-23 in the first half.

The second half was all about Urunani, who scored 23-08 and 29-12 to secure the victory.
