As the winter season approaches, increased circulation of respiratory viruses is expected. The free fall vaccination campaign will begin in the coming days. This was announced on Monday by the national director of public health, Doctor Luc Boileau, during a press briefing intended to take stock of the situation at the start of autumn.

The offer of seasonal vaccines against respiratory viruses (influenza, COVID-19) in co-administration began in the residential and long-term care centers of some establishments last week.

The population at risk of complications is in turn invited to book their appointment. Administration will begin at local service points (PSLs) and community pharmacies from October 16. It is also on this date that the general population will be able to make an appointment.

Appointments are made through Clic Santé. It is also possible to call 1 877 644 4545.
