The national police of Senegal are in mourning after the disappearance of Warrant Officer Pape Serigne Diouf, an eminent member of the 45th promotion, whose exemplary career marked the National Police Academy. It is with immense sadness that his death was announced, leaving a void in the institution.
The Minister of the Armed Forces, General Jean Baptiste Tine, paid him a vibrant tribute, highlighting his unwavering dedication. “It is with deep sadness that we learned of the death of Warrant Officer Pape Serigne Diouf, an eminent member of the 45th promotion. His career, marked by unfailing commitment, has made him a respected instructor and an exceptional supervisor at the National Police Academy. He trained generations of police officers and contributed significantly to strengthening our security forces,” declared the minister in his message.

Warrant Officer Pape Serigne Diouf knew, throughout his career, how to pass on his knowledge and values to numerous generations of police officers, leaving an indelible legacy within the institution. His rigor, professionalism and sense of duty have made him an essential and respected figure among his colleagues and students. “We send our sincere condolences to his family, his loved ones, as well as all of his colleagues and students. Warrant Officer Pape Serigne Diouf, your dedication will never be forgotten. You will remain forever engraved in the heart of our institution. May the land of Touba be light to you.
