The Cora hypermarket in will change its brand at the end of October

Like all Cora stores in , the hypermarket will change brands. In the coming weeks, the store in the Ailes district will come under the control of the Carrefour group.

The Cora stores, bought by the Carrefour group, will gradually change their brand from this Tuesday 1?? october. In Auvergne, the distributor has two stores, one in Lempdes (Puy-de-Dôme) and one in Vichy, in the Ailes district.

This takeover, announced by the Carrefour group last July, will result, in the coming weeks, in “a gradual switch of the 60 stores under their new brand”, Carrefour announced on Monday September 30.

This change of brand must be carried out in three phases, starting today. The Lempdes and Vichy hypermarkets are among the 21 stores affected by the third wave, announced “from the end of October”.

Transition period

“The changeover will take place during a transition period of approximately two weeks during which the hypermarkets will remain open, specifies the Carrefour group in a press release. Customers will thus see their store transform to gradually adopt the codes of the Carrefour group. “

After demolition in Cusset, the construction of a new courthouse is looming by 2025

And to decline: “Initially, the sign will be replaced and the offer of Carrefour products on the shelves will be significantly reinforced. The signage and work clothes will then finalize this change, before a major commercial highlight which will allow to celebrate this change of brand (October 25 for the first wave, November 5 for the second wave and November 19 for the last wave).”

Note that Vichy also has a “Cora in town”. This small area located in the heart of the spa town will also change and become a “Pedestrian Drive Crossroads”.
