The owl was finally found!

Remember: in 1993, an owl sculpture was hidden somewhere in France. Whoever finds it will then be given another version, this time in gold, of the owl, estimated at 1,000,000 francs, around 150,000 euros! The mystery undoubtedly ended this Thursday, October 3, reveals Libération. One of the organizers, Michel Becker, announced that the sculpture had been dug up, 31 years after the game began.
11 almost unsolvable riddles
The challenge was launched by Michel Becker and Régis Hauser. Also called Max Valentin, the latter died in 2009, but took care to develop 11 almost insoluble enigmas, which kept “owlers” in suspense for more than three decades. 73,000 puzzle books were sold, more than 200,000 people are said to have gone looking for the owl.
After the death of Régis Hauser, the only one to know the exact location of the owl with a bailiff, the game had lost its aura, mired in legal proceedings. Michel Becker ended up recovering the rights at the beginning of the 2020s. He then relaunched the game and delivered new clues to the owls, who ended up getting their hands on this mythical treasure!
