A cat that disappears can unfortunately happen. Six disappearing in a few days in the same village is much less normal. However, this is what happened to Chanel, Faye, Hermione, Lucky, Patapouf and Zizou in Corminboeuf.
On April 7, relates Frapp, the owners of a cat named Chanel put up posters in the hope of finding their animal. Others in the same distress then came forward. And residents realized that six cats, belonging to five different families, were nowhere to be found.
Alerted, the Friborg cantonal police launched an investigation. The disappearances were also reported on the Pet Alert Friborg Facebook page, to collect information. “Suspicion of theft or malice”, we can read.
While waiting to know more, concern is in order, because it is difficult to believe in an incredible coincidence. “All the cats disappeared without a trace. We are also a little angry, because we wonder if it was someone who kidnapped or killed them,” the owner of Channel explains to our colleagues.
