When the literary refinement of yesteryear combines with the French automotive elegance of today, it inspires and gives birth to a DS 7 branded “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry”. To commemorate the 80th anniversary of the death of this exceptional writer, poet and aviator, the only French automobile brand flying the premium flag has concocted a very special edition of its flagship SUV, the DS 7.
This limited series celebrates the values of adventure and exploration, dear to Saint-Exupéry, with an exclusive exterior color called “Night Flight”. This pearly blue reveals golden highlights, accentuating the luxurious appearance of the vehicle. Apart from its exclusive color, this special edition is immediately identifiable by the inscription “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry”, made in handwritten typography and attached to the bottom of the front fenders. This plaque, also including a star and a logo sketched to evoke the aircraft fuselage, is also found on the door sills. For the rest, we find everything that makes the DS 7 charming and in particular its daytime running LEDs, called “DS Light Veil”. A very distinctive frontal lighting signature that he adopted for his mid-career facelift.
Air, leather and refinement
In turn, the interior of the DS 7 Antoine de Saint-Exupéry is distinguished by decorative badges bearing the name of the famous French aviator. The dashboard is decorated with embroidery evoking the trail of an aircraft, while next to the central screen is embedded, again, a plaque bearing the words “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry”. The interior, already refined in the other versions, is adorned here with sumptuous “Criollo Brown” Nappa leather upholstery, embellished with pearl stitching and Tramontane embroidery. We owe the refinement of this “collection” to the know-how of the DS Design Studio in Paris, whose designers and craftsmen were strongly inspired by the literary works of Saint-Exupéry. Above all, this version was associated with high-end equipment. 19-inch aluminum wheels, hands-free access, electric start and tailgate, DS Pixel LED Vision intelligent headlights and even an electric panoramic sunroof are on the list of standard equipment.
Available only with a 130 hp 1.5 BlueHDI diesel engine, coupled to an 8-speed automatic transmission, this special edition certainly plays the card of luxury and exclusivity, while focusing on a certain budgetary rationality. Indeed, in addition to a moderate consumption of 5.5l/100 km in the combined cycle, this limited edition of the DS 7 is offered at a price below the luxury tax threshold, i.e. 478,000 DH (including tax). In short, Antoine de Saint-Exupéry will not have to turn in his grave over any burst of pride or excess.

Dressed to the nines and distinctive with its frontal lighting signature, the silhouette of the DS 7 becomes even more so through its special series badged “Antoine de Saint-Exupéry” which exclusively receives a specific pearly shade, called “Vol de nuit”, and revealing golden reflections of the most beautiful effect.
