Lady Gaga was featured in AC/DC’s video for one of their hit songs from the 2000s, Stiff Upper Lip.

During her appearance on Apple ’s A Carpool Karaoke Christmas, which aired on the evening of December 15, the singer and actress showed a video of her late grandmother singing Highway to HellAC/DC’s 1979 hit, before host Zane Lowe surprised her with the appearance of Brian Johnson, the group’s singer.

“I brought you Brian Johnson for Christmas,” he joked.

The singer of Poker Face then remembered her appearance in the rock band’s video when she was a teenager.

“Want to hear something funny? I appear in the video of Stiff Upper Lipshe said. I was 17 years old, I was a backstage extra and I was doing headbanging [balancement de la tête en musique]».


Lady Gaga, whose real name is Stefani Germanotta, then said that she was quickly asked to stop these movements.

“They told me: ‘Don’t do headbang. We want it to be modern.” And I said, “No, I can’t. There’s only one move I can make.”

During this same show, the singer of Just Dance also performed Black Doga Led Zeppelin song from 1971.
