A project that should delight rap fans old school. This Friday, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre present their new joint album called Missionaryreports Franceinfo in particular. If the two artists have never stopped working together (including the legendary Still D.R.E.in 1999), this collaboration comes almost thirty after the enormous success of Doggystylein 1993.
It was Snoop Dogg's first studio album which propelled his career and had many hits such as Gin and Juice or Who Am I (What’s My Name) ?
A slew of feats
On this new album, Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre have multiplied collaborations. We find there in particular Eminem, 50 Cent or the singer Sting. The British artist appears on the track Another Part Of Mewhich samples the melody of Message in a Bottlefrom his band The Police.
Last summer, Snoop Dogg and Dr Dre created an event by performing as a surprise during the closing ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympic Games. They appeared on stage from Long Beach, California, where they performed the tube The Next Episode.
