Considered a legend of Ivorian football, Didier Drogba also built a fine reputation in England, by joining the London club Chelsea.

By far, one of the best attackers the Blues have known, the Ivorian had a flamboyant debut by many fans.

According to information reported by different news sources, for his first year at Chelsea, Didier Drogba stood out with 20 goals in 50 matches.

A ratio which at the time was received with appreciation, to the great surprise of young football fans, now used to seeing attackers finish the season with more than 40 goals scored.

They then had fun making comparisons, putting Didier Drogba and Nicolas Jackson on the same footing.

The latter, long considered a flop at Chelsea, has returned to his best level since the start of the season with a series of brilliant performances.

For his first year, he had scored 23 goals in 50 appearances, three goals ahead of Didier Drogba, who was previously appreciated.

A funny comparison which greatly annoyed many fans, in one of the publications on X, comparing the statistics of Nicolas Jackson to those of Didier Drogba.

For a large part of Internet users, this comparison is irrelevant, especially since the two players did not evolve in the same era.
