Pascal Obispo is continuing his career as he sees fit. Last June, he released the live album of his tour celebrating his 30-year career on streaming platforms, before broadcasting the show filmed at the Forest National in Brussels, on Culturebox. He will return to the stage on November 7 in Courbevoie for a final round of shows in more intimate venues, until April 1, 2025. But the key date is of course January 11, 2025. Three days after blowing out his 60 candles, the singer will give a big concert at the Accor Arena in Paris. At the same time, Pascal Obispo is continuing his record releases, notably via his Obispo All Access application. This time, a year after “Le beau qui pleut”, another project will be found in stores and on traditional streaming platforms: “L’archipel des séquelles”.

“We never lose our childlike soul”

On this 13th studio opus expected on November 15, Pascal Obispo will offer 12 songs ” intimate, acoustic love songs with jazz influence » including eight duets with female voices that the artist knows very well. Thus, the album “L’archipel des séquelles” will see the artist share the microphone with Anne Sila, Nolwenn LeroyElodie Frégé, Isabelle BoulaySharon Laloum (Myriam in the new version of “The Ten Commandments”) or even Zazie28 years after the hit “Les meilleurs ennemis”. It is not this title that serves as an introduction to the album but “Son âme d’enfant”, a piece that Pascal Obispo shares with Carla Brown. On this sweet ballad, the two artists rediscover their childlike souls to overcome life’s trials.

« We lose our dreams, burning hopes / We offer ourselves without respite, prince or beggar / We lose the useless, the essential yet / But we never lose our child’s soul / We lose the pedals, we turn very slowly / Of our cruel lives, we die trembling / We lose north to south, mistral or ponant / But we never lose our child’s soul ” sing Pascal Obispo and Carla Brownclaiming that this soul ” draw our pains » and represents the « happiness » on this single with a cover inspired by the works of Gustav Klimt.
