For now, the names of the actors who will play the Beatles on screen have not yet been officially revealed. But that didn’t stop the iconic Beatles drummer from mentioning the name of the one who will play him on screen in the series of four biopics imagined by Sam Mendes.
Fans of the legendary English group have known for a long time that British director Sam Mendes is working on four films dedicated to the Beatles. As a reminder, each film will tell the story of the group from the point of view of one of the four members.
Among the actors who will play the characters of the members of the legendary group, we now know that it is Barry Keoghan who will play the role of Ringo Starr. Keoghan is particularly known for his role in films like “Saltburn”, “The Batman”, “The Banshees of Inisherin” and “Dunkirk”.
« I love it,” said Ringo Starr, now 84, in an interview with “Entertainment Tonight.” “I think he’s already taking drum lessons somewhere”. And added that he hoped that the actor would not take “too many” drum lessons since, according to him, “Drummers have to find their own feeling.”
