“I LIED.” This is the name of Damso’s new project, with which the Belgian rapper surprised his many fans, who were waiting for his final album, “Beyah”, scheduled for May 30, 2025. But with the Brussels resident, it is necessary expect everything. The artist also unveiled “Vieux Sons” at the end of last summer, a record made up of previously unreleased material.
“I’m tired of having to carry people, I already have the weight of my legend” Damso raps on “Leave Me Alone”. Will he bow out next year, as he announced? A true legend of French-speaking rap, the 32-year-old artist has sold “Ipséité”, his second album, in France, in one million copies, and “Lithopédion” and “QALF”, in 500,000 copies each. “J’AI MENTI”, meanwhile, accumulated 4.69 million streams in 24 hours on Spotify France upon its release.
So far, the only date announced for next year was that of Les Ardentes, scheduled for July 3 to 6, 2025 in Liège, where he will be headlining. Damso will therefore also be on stage in the Grand Duchy, on Wednesday July 16, 2025. Pre-sales will be accessible on the Atelier website, from Tuesday December 3, at 10 a.m., and general on-sale will be on Thursday 5 December, at 10 a.m.
