Surrounded by her faithful friends Claude Chirac, Muriel Robin and Brigitte Macron, the actress recalled having created this foundation, to which she decided to bequeath everything, to “ all these lives taken too soon », as reported by our colleagues from Parisian : « All these researchers are working to save our lives, their work is not sufficiently highlighted, we never talk about them. (…) When I started, it was hope. Now it’s happening, I’m happy “. This year, the prize which celebrates medical research was awarded to Caroline Robert, professor and head of the dermatology department at the Gustave Roussy Institute in Villejuif (Val-de-Marne).

“I see the end of the road”
Speaking in front of the audience, notably composed of Thierry Suc, Jean-Claude Camus, Dominique Besnehard and Xavier Niel, Line Renaud said to herself “ upset » by his « activist life » : « It often gave me a sense of priorities. Scientific research is one because it can prevent illness, ward off death and sorrow “. And the artist recalls with emotion the end of his life: “ At almost 97 years old, I see the end of the road, soon I will no longer be here, but you will be there! With your gifts, your strengths and your conviction. And then you will remember this evening, this fight initiated together ».
Touched by the welcome given by the public present at the Maison de la Recherche, located in the 7th arrondissement of Paris, Line Renaud then continued: “ My friends, I can tell you that we never love life as much as when we are about to leave it. And I love life so much that I love those who protect it, those who fight for it ». « Line, when you came to Gustave Roussy, your look at us, you know, gave us a great boost of energy, we feel stronger » also declared dermatologist Caroline Robert, crowned during this ceremony and who received a check for 60,000 euros for her institute.
