The artist published a video on Wednesday of him performing a song about his parents Françoise Hardy and Jacques Dutronc.

“I loved you so much that I love you again, even better and forever.” Fifteen days after the death of Françoise Hardy, Thomas Dutronc recorded and published a song in tribute to his mother, whose funeral took place last week, in the presence of fervent fans gathered at the Père-Lachaise cemetery on Thursday June 20. The next day his son shares a new song In your eyes. “Time passes but nothing erases your smile or your tenderness”he sings against a guitar backdrop.

On Wednesday he published a face-to-face video on his Instagram where only his face appears. We see him on guitar performing the chorus of his latest song You are the air, you are the wind, in the extract. Thomas Dutronc writes: “I wanted to introduce you to my new title today In your eyes, both very romantic and full of love. And circumstance…”

A tribute to the parental couple

“Both already 20 years old” “20 years modest in love” “20 years but never in vain” “20 unique years in love” “20 years is everything but it’s nothing” “20 years for a moment”. This music is the child of Jacques Dutronc and Françoise Hardy who sings it. Thomas Dutronc honors his parents and the couple they were for twenty years, even if they never divorced. A few days after the death of his mother, he had already paid tribute on stage at the Jazz Opale Festival in Neufchâtel-Hardelot.
