Max Cavalera resurrected Nailbomb for an exclusive performance at the Max Cavalera Dynasty Show on November 9 at the Marquee Theater in Tempe, Arizona. Fans were able to attend an exceptional show, marking the return of this cult project since 1995.
A memorable concert with a new formation
For this special evening, Max Cavalera, also a member of Soulfly and formerly of Sepultura, brought together a team of talented musicians to recreate the raw energy of Nailbomb. The lineup, without co-founder Alex Newport (Fudge Tunnel), included Travis Stone of Pig Destroyer on guitar, Johny Chow (formerly of Stone Sour) on bass, Adam Jarvis (Misery Index, Pig Destroyer) on drums, and Alex Cha (Pig Destroyer) on samples. This unique concert celebrated not only Nailbomb, but also other Cavalera projects, such as Go Ahead And Die, Incite, and Soulfly.
Spectators were able to rediscover emblematic pieces from the album Point Blank from 1994, considered a mixture of industrial metal and punk aggression. Max Cavalera even hinted that Nailbomb could make other appearances in the future, notably during the Alcatraz festival in August 2025 in Belgium.
