Christopher is dead!

Commissioner Becker has just received confirmation that Father Pavan was indeed on the plane to France and assures Janet that he will be questioned impartially.

Later, Father Pavan was arrested by the border police at Roissy airport. It was only in the afternoon that he arrived at the Montpellier police station to be questioned by the authorities. When Captain Léoni suggests that he hire a lawyer, Father Sylvio refuses, specifying that he does not need anyone to defend himself.

Before beginning the interrogation, the priest asks Commissioner Becker for forgiveness for having given in to temptation. He also wants to tell her that Janet never stopped loving him. This is also why he decided to go to Paraguay. Indeed, the priest was not able to assume the consequences of his actions at the time.

Without reacting to these remarks, Commissioner Becker tells him that he will be heard in connection with Aubert’s death. When asked by the police, the priest said he had never seen this person in his life. In the evening, Noura shows her mother the earrings she bought with the money she gave her. Which delights Stéphanie. When her daughter asks her if she had a good day, Stéphanie makes her believe that she is tired because she had a lot of people at the store. While Noura advises her to hire someone, Stéphanie claims that she will think about it. And to end the conversation, she suggests ordering sushi.
