Friday June 14, Pharrell Williams has revealed his new title for the upcoming release of “Despicable Me 4”. Entitled “Double Life”, fans detected a hidden meaning in the lyrics, which could speak directly to the Canadian rapper.
It’s a clash that doesn’t date from yesterday and with this title, it could even experience a second wind. Since the release of the very first animated film “Despicable Me”, Pharrell Williams is in charge of the soundtrack. After the incredible success of “Happy” which now has more than 1.3 million streams on Spotify, Universal Pictures has once again called on the talent of half of Neptunes. This Friday, June 14, the first title of the fourth part of the feature film was revealed and it is signed Pharrell Williams. But on “Double Life”, fans suspect a hidden meaning to the lyrics, suspecting attacks directed against Drake.

On social networks, fans then drew parallels with Drake, evoking potential barbs concerning his “double face”. Others highlight the fact that this title is published for the July 3 release of “Despicable Me 4”, where we will discover a new side of Gru, the main character. If the clash is not recent, Pharrell had never responded to Drake since his first attacks in 2018, in particular because of his proximity to Pusha T.
