Here it all begins: what awaits you in episode 949 of Tuesday June 18, 2024 [SPOILERS] – News Series on TV

Tuesday June 18 in Here it all begins…

What secret is Quentin still hiding?

After learning that Quentin was her older brother, Maya wonders why she didn’t recognize him sooner. Leonard reminds her that she was only 4 years old when they were separated. Maya tells Vic that she has no memory of the accident that cost their parents their lives. On the other hand, she remembered her brother and had contacted the social worker to meet him. But he refused. Maya doesn’t understand why he came back to see her at the home, then at the Institute, without ever telling her anything.

Meanwhile, Quentin admits to Antoine and Leroy that he is Maya’s brother. He explains that he wanted to tame him before revealing his identity to him, but he admits he went about it wrong. However, he claims to be sincerely interested in the Institute’s Master’s degree and therefore to be ready to take the Third Years test. Leroy believes him.

However, Antoine first wants to ensure that Maya would feel comfortable with the prospect of meeting Quentin every day at school. He asks the young girl for her opinion. Having difficulty projecting herself, Maya believes that this is the right time to confront Quentin and ask him all the questions she has.

In the park, Maya asks her brother to explain. The latter says that he had a lot of violence in him following the accident and the death of their parents. Considered a danger to others, Quentin was separated from Maya by social services. Then the young man convinced himself that his little sister was better off without him. Now he has changed his mind. He also admits to being very proud of her and really wanting to know her. But Maya thinks it’s too late.

The young girl goes to the Workshop to work. Vic comes to see her to find out how her conversation with her brother went. Maya admits that she doesn’t want to take the risk of becoming attached to him if he changes his opinion about her. Vic then tells her about her initially rocky relationship with her own sister at one time, encouraging Maya to take the risk.

Finally, Maya decides to give Quentin a second chance. She finds him in the park, asking him for stories about their parents. Thanks to him, she remembers that her father loved cooking and that her mother was the type to defend her beliefs. Quentin apologizes to Maya for not telling her the truth sooner. The girl forgives him, stating that she wishes to get to know him.

Quentin goes to the management office to confirm to Antoine and Leroy that Maya agrees for him to try to enter a Master’s degree. However, he admits to them that he has not yet told her the whole truth about the accident. At the same time, Vic and Malik arrive near the office whose door is open. They hear Antoine insisting to Quentin that he tell Maya the whole truth after the exams…

David makes a deal with Hippolyte

In the park, David tells Billie how he confronted, then reframed, Hippolyte. The girl is very proud of him. They are interrupted by Tom who shows them Leroy’s message about the second test of the exams: this one will be focused on technique. David and Billie, who are more instinctive, dread this ordeal. They decide to get to work. Especially since David absolutely wants to be valedictorian to be able to be hired at FC Madrid.

In the kitchen, David and Billie are practicing. But it is clear that they cannot follow a technical sheet to the letter. They can’t help but add their own personal touch. To put all the chances on their side, they decide to call on Anaïs, asking her to coach them. But the young woman declines because she is already overwhelmed with work.

David then meets Hippolyte at the city center café to offer to coach his partner for the final exam test. Hippolyte is very surprised. But when David tells him that he is ready to take this bet, he accepts.

Laetitia is heartbroken

Laetitia goes to see Maïa at the hospital and takes her for a walk in the park, pushing her chair. The latter takes the opportunity to thank her for having been a great support for Stanislas when she was in a coma. Laetitia is touched.

At Double A, Stanislas reminds Laetitia that she must replace him for the setup because he is going to see his wife. The uneasiness is palpable between them. But they put on a good show, especially in front of Hortense.

Stanislas takes his wife to the Institute so that they can walk in the park. Maïa loves the place which reminds her of the one where they got married. She then has the impression that her memories are really part of another life. To prove her wrong, Stanislas carries her in his arms and makes her dance. In the distance, Laetitia sees them together, close and accomplices.

On returning home, Laetitia is brooding, while feeling guilty for not rejoicing for the happiness of Stanislas and Maïa. Kelly pushes her to admit that she has the right to be sad. She knows that it is no one’s fault, but she finds the situation unfair for her mother who could have been happy with Stanislas. Laetitia ends up bursting into tears in her daughter’s arms.
