It seems that drummer John Boecklin is about to make his return to DevilDriver. Boecklin, who left the band in 2014, has since made a name for himself with the platinum-selling Alternative Rock/Metal band Bad Wolves, which he co-founded. However, a recent post from DevilDriver singer Dez Fafara suggests that Boecklin could once again take up the drumsticks for the band.

On June 13, Fafara shared a post on social media that mentioned Boecklin and hinted at DevilDriver’s upcoming activities. This development sparked excitement among fans, who were eagerly awaiting news about the group’s upcoming activities.

To add to the intrigue, the message also mentioned Davier Pérez, the band’s new drummer, as well as current guitarists Mike Spreitzer and Alex Lee, and bassist Jon Miller. This has led to some confusion and speculation about the lineup and how Boecklin’s return might fit into the picture.

Boecklin’s initial departure from DevilDriver in 2014 marked the end of an era, as he had been a key member since the group’s formation. His contributions were important in shaping the band’s sound and identity. During his absence, he focused on Bad Wolves, which enjoyed considerable success.
