We talked about it in #LeDriveRTL2 in February, Sam Mendes wants to shoot four films which would tell the meteoric rise of the Fab Four through the individual perspective of each Beatle. Well, the casting rumors are intensifying.

We mentioned in #LeDriveRTL2 Paul Mescal to play Paul MacCartney well now we’re thinking about Irish Barry Keoghan the star of Saltburn And The Banshees of Inisherin to embody Ringo Starr, Harris Dickinson could embody John Lennonon saw him in Maleficent: The Power of Evil, The King’s Man: First Mission. And to finish Charlie Rowe who played younger in the not very well known Never Let Me Go would embody George Harrison.

According to Sony, this is “the first time that Apple Corps (the label founded by the Beatles), the group’s surviving members, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, and the families of John Lennon and George Harrison, have transferred the rights story and music for a scripted film.

London launches its first Indie Sleaze daytime club night

For those who miss clubbing in terms of action on the dance floor and neon lights but not in terms of schedules, our English neighbors will launch in Camden an Indie Sleaze eveninga term used to describe the rock musical movements of the 2000s, from the rock of the Strokes to Franz Ferdinand and the Nu Rave of Klaxons to Gossip, including the French touch of Justice and Phoenix.

It will happen from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. The name of the event? Daytime is for Heroes. A “clubbing by day” movement which has been increasingly successful across the Channel in recent years and which could please here in France too.
