Interviewed for the portrait of Seven to Eight broadcast this Sunday, November 3, Aël Pagny, the daughter of Florent Pagny and Azucena Caamaño, gave reassuring news about her father.
Aël Pagny, the daughter of the artist Florent Pagny, publishes an album of unpublished photographs called Pagny by Aël. The 25-year-old young woman, photographer and model, agreed to give herself to Audrey Crespo-Mara for the show's portrait of the week Seven to Eight broadcast on TF1 this Sunday, November 3. In her first televised speech, Aël confided the reasons which pushed her to leave home at the age of 16, her taste for nostalgia, her passion for photography, but she also returned to her complicity with his father and the latter's illness, affected by lung cancer in 2022.

Aël, whose first name means “messenger angel”, has photographed her father for the last three years while refusing to take him from every angle – the young woman admitted to not having had the reflex or the desire to take his camera photo in moments of pain, sorrow and great fatigue of Florent Pagny. This Sunday, November 3, she gave news of her father. “How is he today?“, asks Audrey Crespo-Mara of Aël Pagny, whose portrait she portrays in Seven to Eight. “He is doing very well, fortunately. Not long ago he had an exam and everything is fine. We're waiting for the next one, in three months but, for now, we're happy“replied the young woman.”Is there any hope of putting an end to this cursed cancer once and for all?“, continues the journalist and wife of Thierry Ardisson. “Yes, finally, there is always hope but we know that it is not realistic. We know that it could come back at any time so we live in the present, we don't think about what could happen and for the moment, we are happy“, replies the photographer. And concludes: “Everything is fine“.

Rather discreet about his family life before recent years, Florent Pagny spoke of the birth of his two children in his autobiography entitled Pagny by Florent and released in April 2023. From his love with the model Azucena Caamaño, two children were in fact born in the 90s; Inca, in 1996, and Aël, born in 1999. In November 2021, guest on the set of Looking forward to Sundaythe couple spoke of their children – the first in street art and the second in photography – with great pride.
