Linkin Park launched the opening ceremony of the 2024 League of Legends World Championships with great fanfare, this Saturday, November 2, by performing its latest single Heavy Is The Crown at the O2 Arena in London. This track, which is also the official anthem of this edition, marks the group's first collaboration with Riot Games, highlighting its commitment to this new era.

Heavy Is The Crown : the anthem of the 2024 Worlds

Since its release on September 24, Heavy Is The Crown was a dazzling success, becoming the most listened to Worlds anthem to date, with more than 270 million audio streams and 57 million views on YouTube. This track will also be part of Linkin Park's new album, From Zerowhich will be released on November 15 via Warner. This is the band's first full-length album since One More Light in 2017, the final opus released before the tragic death of Chester Bennington.

A new era for Linkin Park

This new album introduces two new members: Emily Armstrong on vocals and Colin Brittain on drums, who join historic members Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, Dave “Phoenix” Farrell and Joe Hahn. For the current tour, guitarist Alex Feder replaces Delson on stage. At the same time, the group added three new dates to its tour From Zero in November, with concerts planned in , Dallas and São Paulo.

In a recent interview for BillboardMike Shinoda addressed the departure of Rob Bourdon, founding member of the group, who distanced himself for personal reasons. Gradually reformed with new collaborations, Linkin Park found a new balance by integrating Armstrong and Brittain, while remaining faithful to its musical heritage.
