As part of the Mental Health Weeks organized by the Luxembourg Mental Hygiene League, the CHNP rehabilitation clinic and the EME Foundation organized a public screening of the video clip “The Monster’s Eye” at the Salle Edmond Dune du CHNP.

The “Eye of the Monster” project, which took place during the summer holidays at Orangerie 3 of the Ettelbruck rehabilitation clinic, allowed young people to write, compose and direct their own song. From this creative process, accompanied by the rapper Maz Univerze, the singer and producer Patrick Miranda and the animation studio Animyou, a rap was born “which brings together the emotions and personal stories of young people in different languages,” explains the Foundation.

Orangerie 3 is a specialized unit of the rehabilitation clinic. It is aimed at patients aged 12 to 17 suffering from mental disorders and who, according to the press release, risk putting themselves or others in danger. The structure provides a protected environment in which young people can be cared for over the long term.

The video clip “The Monster’s Eye” is available on the EME Foundation YouTube channel as well as on the streaming platforms Spotify, Deezer, Amazon , Apple Music and Tidal. You will find further information on the website: www.fondation-eme.
