HYBE has shared its response to the email from parents of NewJeans members that was revealed today.

Earlier today, Ilgan Sports shared an email that Min Hee Jin sent to HYBE in April. In this email, she included a message allegedly sent by the parents of NewJeans members.

Following this, HYBE wanted to speak publicly on May 13, declaring:

“This is a press release from HYBE.

We would like to provide an explanation on an email that was sent to us by NewJeans’ parents, as reported by a media outlet on May 13.

We received the email mentioned on April 3 and we already responded on April 16 with content indicating in particular that it was not plagiarism (between ILLIT and NewJeans).

We also wish to assert that the claim that the start of the ADOR incident was due to “negligence such as not greeting members” is a one-sided and false argument.

We find it very unfortunate that Min Hee Jin is using an old-fashioned practice by dragging artists and their families into her own fights for her personal greed.

We have proof that ▲ sending emails attacking HYBE was from the start part of the plan to take control of management rights and for personal gain. ▲ Min Hee Jin suggested using the parents to raise issues because it would violate the shareholders’ agreement if she did it herself ▲ the email allegedly sent by the parents was actually written by Vice President L and Min Hee Jin. We plan to submit this evidence to the investigative and judicial authorities.

We can’t help but express our dismay at Min Hee Jin’s behavior, using artists as shields for her personal gain and even putting their parents first. We urge him not to mislead public opinion and to exercise restraint to protect the value of artists. »
