Theater festival at the CAC Jean Glavany

The season is coming to an end, and what better way to close it than to invite you to our big Theater Festival? Join them for an exceptional evening where the talent and passion of our artists will shine on stage. Come discover and celebrate the magic of theater with us!

Saturday June 8, from 5:30 p.m., at the CAC jean Glavany, in Maubourguet, immerse yourself in the captivating world of Virginie Castaing with an extract from her future show “Let the music guide you”. Let yourself be transported for a moment of pure emotion. At 6 p.m., young people from the theater option section of the Marie-Curie high school in Tarbes present their performance with the Insensés troupe. They very solemnly invite you to a real and confident theater class. It will be about being serious without pretension, funny without histrionics, sincere without immodesty. A moment punctuated with texts by Beaumarchais, Racine, Tony Kushner, and a few others… 7 p.m., discover the T7C children’s troupe in “Our Slave Island” (based on “Presque Marivaux”), an adaptation and staging by Dominique Remy. Following a shipwreck, masters and their slaves find themselves on a strange island where everything is reversed. How will they behave now that the roles have changed. At 7:30 p.m. Spanish Inn: everyone is invited to bring the dish of their choice for a moment of sharing and conviviality. 8:30 p.m.: the T7C adult troupe presents. “Maxicorpus or The Waiting Room”, freely adapted from Jean-Claude Grumberg’s “It’s OK”.
