A best of of 57 titles named Higher will be released on November 8 and will include a previously unreleased track, recorded after his meeting with Michel Berger in 1974 and entitled The prisoner.

She is getting ready to come back to life. With her hits Gall, Michel Berger’s favorite wife and performer, colored French pop for almost fifteen years. Between them, they will form a real hit machine, each in his role: he in composition, she in interpretation.
To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Gall-Berger duo, a best of named Higher will be released on November 8, more than six years after the singer’s death.

This best of will include the greatest hits of France Gall like He played the piano standing up, Resist, Unplug, Ella she has it, Obviously, Babacar, Music or And Mom too. Several interpretations with Elton John and Michel Berger will also be found including Let the dreams pass et Things are pretty bad in . Fans of the singer will also be able to listen to rare live versions like the duet shared with Johnny Hallyday at the Olympia in 2000 on Something from Tennessee.

A new song revealed

Recorded at the start of his meeting with Michel Berger, an unpublished song dating from 1974 and entitled The prisoner will be revealed on October 25. The latter comes from their musical comedy project entitled Angelina Dumasa comedy inspired by a Hollywood news story with twists and turns that Michel Berger wanted to transpose onto the stage. This project will ultimately never see the light of day, however some ideas will be included in the musical Starmania.

The best of will be available in 4 editions: 18-track single and double vinyl CD editions, 57-track 3CD edition and 10-track single vinyl edition.
